Coach Bernardo Tavares
Bernardo Tavares is a young but experienced Portuguese coach with a UEFA PRO license since 2013. He graduated in High-Performance Sports Training in Football and former football player. Bernardo is young and a responsible coach already with 20 years of coaching experience.
Coach Bernardo has all the requirements that a club may need. He has the technical know-how, the experience, and the ability to adapt to a new country and a new culture. He has worked in 7 different countries, in 7 Premier Leagues (Portugal, Bahrain, Oman, Tanzania, Maldives, Macau – China, and India. It is important to add that he has been successful in all of them.
At the beginning of his career, he worked at all youth levels, including in the three best Portuguese academies: SL Benfica, FC Porto, and Sporting CP. He worked as head coach of the youth teams, as well as the Assistant Coach or Physical Coach or Goalkeeper Coach or Scout in the first teams of the professional leagues.
He has experience in various roles within the coaching staff which allows him, as Head Coach, to know what he wants from his coaching staff. He worked or did internships with great coaches, which allow him to have a good “know-how” at the level of the best coaches in the world.
